The Mayberry Memorial is a non-profit organization, formed by family and friends in honor of Bob Mayberry- a lifetime nonsmoker who died of lung cancer in 2007, after a 5 year battle with the disease. The Mayberry Memorial raises awareness of the need for lung cancer research, which is extremely under-funded, and raises funds for research being conducted at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
